| Honda Jazz (surfingzone.net) Honda akan menarik seluruh mobil Jazz yang diproduksi tahun 2001 sampai 2008. Honda menyatakan, terdapat kesalahan produksi yang bisa memicu kebakaran. Keputusan penarikan ini muncul setelah sebuah Honda Jazz yang terbakar merenggut nyawa seorang balita berusia dua tahun bernama Vanilla Nurse di Afrika Selatan. Honda Inggris lalu mengeluarkan kebijakan menarik 171 ribu Jazz yang ada di negeri itu. Honda Inggris, seperti diberitakan timesonline.co.uk, Jumat 29 Januari 2010, menyatakan akan menghubungi seluruh pemilik Honda Jazz. Honda menyatakan, tombol jendela di mobil itu bisa mengakibatkan hubungan pendek dan menimbulkan api jika terkena air. Kondisi ini kemungkinan besar berdampak atas 646 ribu Honda Jazz di seluruh dunia. Penarikan ini muncul di saat pengguna Toyota juga dikhawatirkan dengan sejumlah kasus kematian karena kesalahan produksi. Di Amerika Serikat, muncul 19 laporan kematian akibat pedal gas Toyota terus tertekan sementara pengendara sudah menarik kakinya. |
